It was meh. The story was basic, the characters were too passive, including the would-be rapist who will stop at nothing to defile the girl, but totally gets stopped by the weakest interruption. Factor in the happiness "dilemma" and the over reliance on "saved by the bell" to keep the heroine from being completely raped and it's just a disappointment all around.
