I remember reading one of Machida Hiraku's tankoubon where he talked about the difficulty of forcing himself to constantly write about the ugly side of human beings, and that he tried to to change jobs because it was hard on him mentally. Seems he lasted only a few weeks until he came back to draw the same manga again, and ended with a kind of sarcastic remark, something like: "Someone, save me". Many of his works, especially his later ones, give off exactly that feeling of helplessness. This one is very strong in that respect: the characters in his drawings (which have improved) look squalid, their eyes are hollow, and the dialogue between them is sad. This one is so realistic in the depiction of the little girl, especially, there is almost no fantasy. The act is depicted so matter-of-factly it is impossible, at least for me, to feel any arousal. Definitely, Hiraku is like no other loli artist ever. There has never been anyone like him, and there probably never will be.

@iona2323 comic lo doesn't do monthly anymore. However, in between comic LO volumes, smaller electronic editions called "comic LOE" are released. You can tell it's a LOE because takamichi hasn't been doing the cover art for the electronic editions

I understand maybe Sekirei is a type of girl that values the sense of excitement more than intimacy, as shown in the last frame that she changed to a completely different attire and had piercings. Anyway, although slightly dissapointed, this seems to be a very realistic ending. Maybe Sabaku let some readers dissapointed since he also did that in the previous Yoruko series, but maybe this is just his style so I respect him for doing so.

Maybe it’s just cause last months LOE was so fucking awful, but I honestly think this is alright. It’s not like the golden era of the mid-late 2010s, but it’s definitely a cut above the slop we’ve been receiving the past few years. I’m also glad to see Sabaku seems to have wrapped up that story; I was never really a fan of sabaku’s “sekirei”, so I’m hopefully they’ll devote their talents to something more interesting in the future. Also that end story was insanely degenerate but the art has such a weird allure to it that it actually becomes appealing in a different way, solid work. Overall 7/10 LO overall I’d say, see y’all next month.

No surprised the remake version of Sabaku's Sekirei ended like that. It's quite realistic though. At one point of a relationship, the guy/ MC will just want "a partner"/ someone he could feel fine to be with. Whether the girl's feeling is mutual is what decides how it would end. In this case, for Sekirei, all this is simply for the thrill of being discovered and lust non-stop. That's why she interacts less after the MC sent her a message "We got found out by my sis" and broke up afterwards. BTW the book will come in 25 Feb next year and I'm looking forward to it.

Sabuku's artstyle is good. It's a pity to write the plot like this. So sabuku 卒

Finally sabaku's series has finished. I don't really like that series. Hope he will bring another masterpiece next year
