I honestly lost the plot? Like, I failed to follow through with it. As far as I can tell, the queen/king basically appeased the invading nation/tribe due to lack of military strength. Which resulted in an external/internal coup(?) where the invading tribe basically threw out the reigning monarch (along with other women whom I assume they will be enslaving) and leaving some of the (assumedly male)nobility to rule the area in their stead?
