It's on par for the course. Everything is about the self-insert. And, to be fair, Kanade is so dumb and self-absorbed that the realization that she betrayed Renji again and again for absolutely nothing would fly over her head. I do not expect any apology or confession from Kanade let alone the self-insert. I think we'll be lucky enough if Mitsuru doesn't write a totally "fuck you!" ending.

What really upsets me is the lack of reaction from Kanade when Asuka clears up their misunderstanding. Nothing. But when her boyfriend goes to take off his wedding ring, she jumps right on him. Classic Kanade. lol

@mamakan Asuja come in and apologize to Kanade, and said then clear up the confusion that she misheard about Reiji loving Asuka more, and she said Kyousuke being obsessed with Kanade is because he want to get back at Reiji, since he never had Asuka love. Then Asuka and Kyousuke were about to break up, and Kanade trying to stop them, than flashback to the past where Kyousuke console heartbroken Asuka and about to deflower her. Seems like the author want to wrap up the series soon imo.
