basically the succubus are the gatekeeper of the first floor to fight against the demon boss. Main character is the magician character of the party and they were getting stuck on the first floor. his first plan against the succubus is to cast protection against "charm" and that got proven ineffective. after they got defeated the first time he tried to convince the party to fight the succubus again but they refused. Then one day a random old man came by and told the MC that he is the chosen one for the crest magic. He gave the MC a bracelet to cast crest magic and took off. then the MC finally managed to convince the group to go back to fight the succubus again. You can notice that the female party character has always been there, but just went off screen as soon as charm was cast.
