Translator here. In the JP version Bridget isn't really given any pronouns as in Japanese you can both refer to someone doing a thing and describe them using adjectives without necessarily dropping a pronoun. Bridget at most gets referred to as コイツ which is neither male nor female. Nothing was deliberately change from the Japanese version as it kept it pretty vague. I chose to go with male pronouns because it seemed like the safer option.
