...but the second best way would be to use the length of the limo to your advantage. Do some drifting with just enough angle to block the road so he can't pass you. If he does get beside the limo, Shingo would still have a lot of car to pass, so just preserve that speed so he can't get up so far towards the front to block the limo from drifting. If he gets past the halfway point on the limo he's won, if not he's lost. He would hit the limo, but if the driver kept an eye out it would definitely be possible to win because that's a lot of car to move out of the way. After almost 3 years, I'm here to add that I was too nice before. Every driver has potential, so of course they do, but it doesn't matter if they spend too much time having spontaneous sex to actually practice. I have never seen drivers so completely distracted. Forget having a couple hundred hours behind the wheel, I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't even been in a car before. These people are probably only having sex with eachother because nobody else would have sex with someone that slow. Also, Shingo's driving was way off. Shingo wasn't able to hit Takumi, but that wasn't because Shingo was bad at driving, it was because Takumi was good at driving. Shingo hit Iketani no problem, and he's a fairly average beginner level street racer, about where that weirdo in the limo was. If Shingo was able to hit Iketani, he definitely would've been able to hit a limo. The best way to win that race would be not to drive a fucking limo ...

Fire as hell

The drivers have potential, but they're slow as hell, plus they're sloppy. The adrenaline must have gotten to them, because they're using massive amounts of countersteer and angle. Not only is that slower than a proper all wheel drift, but it totally kills the tires. These drivers must only have a few hundred hours behind the wheel. Make better use of the brakes to initiate a drift on the hairpins, make sure all the tires are skidding including the front ones, and aim for maybe a 50° angle through the corners. That's more along the lines of speed drifting. They're definitely fast enough to challenge most street racers, but their technique is just for show, especially compared to any driver with more time behind the wheel. They'd be dusted by anyone that's been seriously driving for a few months
