What's confusing? Kanako has been in love with Chisaki for a long time. She thought Chisaki was a lesbian because boys weren't keeping her interest. In other words, she thought she might have a good chance at ending up with her. But seeing Chisaki so excited with Ueno, she's realizing the issue might've been that she wanted a masochist, not a girl. She's confronting her about it because she wants to either confirm her feelings, or try to drive a wedge between the two. Honestly, I hate Kanako, but it's hard to hate her as much after this.
