Added note: the guy who claimed the artist used ai to trace and redraw the characters has a lot of merit because I the exact panels, even the order of the panels and story itself so yeah, its absolutely stolen but I hope that it is the best case scenario of it just being a kid who understandably dont know how to make a full comic yet instead of it being an adult just wanting clout or a quick buck by using someone elses work with a slightly different paint layeref on top of the old one .I dont remember which comic exactly the panels are in but I have seen it before, I especially recognise the first seven panels, panel 12, 15 and 21

In other words it requires effort to even learn from, if you trace over someone elses drawings for your own product than that is using someone elses work foe your own product without the liscense nor permission of the artist and is thus likely a crime in most countries with good copyright laws, I say likely because I dont learn more about copyright law until my next school year. To summarise, this hopefully naive and non-maliscious artist told the ai to directly trace over someone elses work to make thier own comic, they couldnt even be bothered to copy it by hand, a pre-schooler with a piece of paper, a pen and an Ipad set to max brightness has more artistic integrity than someone who hopefully took someone elses work for non-maliciscous reasons do, I believe ive made myself clear "turns to glass"

@remix12 Yahallo~ currekt art student here, if the ai is just taking pre-existing panels and overlaying it wity new character then thats tracing someone elses work which is not making your own visual story, its an easy way to practice drawing your own characters or how to draw a pose but that id only of you pick both drawings apart like a biology student does to a frog to analyse why the pose is the way it is

If ai art is so hard to make as you guys say why do they not put that time into leqrning to actually draw the stories question mark? I dont get it, writing and drawing are much more applicable skills in the job market and much more fun too

@Nah i'd win When you say theres no sucha thing as "made by me" with AI. I assume, because, AI uses existing references. So you claim this "aritst" changed the characters through AI and then improved the work with Photoshop and only has similar poses than some other manga. Now what if you draw an illustration manga of existing characters and they have similar poses than some other unrelated, already existing manga. What are you going to do now? Do you understand how ridiculous these claims are when they go under scrutany of some 3rd party without existing bias. 3rd party would not look at this and say "oh, it's ok because it's made by human hand" That's not how the LAW works.

Explanation: you maybe wondering why an AI goyslop can recreate such a manga with consistent pose and angle; it was a story from other series and the "so-called-artist" prompt the novelAI to overwrite original characters but not the pose. AI still got hard time to render multiple boxes at once, hence why he use photoshop; to input it one by one so the AI won't confused to the given prompt. Remember no word such as "made by me" in anything ai related nor the machine create anything by itself.
