11/10 storytelling. I like how it explores the theme surrounding the stereotypical gentleman losing everything. I don't think the ex should see them happy ever after, too; in my view, her absence is in itself a form of telling a story. Still quite the fantasy story; chances of this happening in real life are slim, but I like how the MC somehow maintained his gentle core despite everything, although he did undergo a quite drastic change, which only serves to tell us that yes, people care too much about male performance, and it's rare to find someone with whom one can be himself.

The only way this could have been better is if the ex-wife walked in on the MC fucking her mom and sister and regretted the whole damn thing, or if she got some other comeuppance in the form of abusive ex-bf or other sad ending. LOVE this one.
