yeah, this story is confusing as fuck. I think Peter has lost track of where the story is going. But from what I translated a year has passed since the other chick divorced her husband and stayed away from the other couple. However, after she comes back you can see MC still has lingering feelings for her and instead of Kanade talking to him, she talks to the other guy, and he takes advantage to fuck her again. MC of course knows about this and the other two think they got away with it. Looks like these two are going to cheat behind MC's back.
