Color is still better than black and white. This AI color is still new and flawed. So it will be widely used after a few years.

Some textures got altered (in the bad way) in the colorisin' process, e.g: Check page 1 & 2, the mother's arpon got altered compared to original grayscale work - 572696. Hell a number of textboxes get messed up by AI even in colorisin' process, that's a shame. At least put some effort to replace/repair any fucked up outputs that done by AI.

If all it did was take a black and white doujin like 572696 and color it like the front page said, that's exactly what AI is supposed to be used for. A human still made the content and all story decisions, the AI is just up-scaling the colors. Should be properly tagged though.

AI colourization tools existed long before any of the people bitching and moaning in this thread even heard about AI. I'm sure 90% of them encountered an AI coloured page before and appreciated it(like how the many itt who admits to liking it and then seethed after finding out its AI) before and only seething now because they've made AI a contentious issue in their head with no nuance allowed. It uses completely different stack of tools from GenAI tools to even begin with and more advanced version of paint bucket fill algorithm.
