@Diegsterr Sorry for the bitchy earlier comment, I clearly have *opinions* on lettering lol. Here's an actual helpful comment: go check out Blambot.com, tons of free comic fonts and some tutorials iirc. You mainly want "Dialogue Fonts" for most of your base stuff. Don't worry about fancy stuff, go for clear legibility. If you want to branch out to fancier or more exciting stuff, save it for extreme yelling or excited moments. Also check out their "Better Letterer" articles. While they are mainly on US comics, it's mostly the same general guidelines, except that manga formatting is more vertical in terms of the general shape of the text block, less horizontal like US. Also, check out some manga you like, study those. There is an artform to lettering, even if you don't have time to learn it you can always read a chapter of published manga here and there and get a vibe for how they do letters or compare yours to theirs.

Oooh ok, honestly I think doing it handwritten would've taken less time, will consider it next time i decide to translate something. The font I used is "Acid green", although no idea how to make it wobbly like the moans.

By handwritten font I mean literally writing it but generally people only do that when they are paid. Anyway the font you are using might be a great for the moanings. What is it?

@12345strung no way comic sans is used xDD. You know, I did consider just writing with my wacom but decided not to. When I have time will look for handwriten fonts if i can use them with photoshop.

I recommend using comic sans for the general dialog. As for the moanings or so you can search for advice online. The professionals like irodori comics use handwritten fonts but if you won’t be spending a lot of time on this then I recommend you just pick a recmended font.

Some tips on lettering: Don't use that awful font you used. It's awful. Use something legible like a normal comic or manga font, there are thousands available for free. There's also TONS of comic and manga lettering advice and tips out there. Also: Don't use the shitty scan. Use the crisp digital version that was already uploaded. I genuinely don't understand why ppl do this.
