no matter how many kanoe doujins get published, i'll keep coming back to this one. it's truly the gold standard. so many other books miss the mark by making kanoe too conventionally cute. she's supposed to be offputting and creepy, which rimukoro nails in literally every single drawing of her here. his art style really works to his benefit. i feel like there's only really one or two other books that reach the same criteria, which is a pity because she's one of my favourite students...
