[Kenbunya (Izui)] Tsuma ga Ani ni Netorare Ochiru made no Ikkagetsukan

There was once a story about two brothers and two goldfish they kept as pets. One day the brothers went out, and the two goldfish turned into two women who took care of the house while they were gone, just as how the brothers took care of them. When the brothers came back, they discovered the two women who were once the goldfish. Each brother got married to one of them. A little while later, however, one of the brothers were jealous that their brother’s wife was prettier than theirs, so he came up with a plan: one day he had called out his own wife and his brother. He then proceeded to kill them both by pushing them down a hole which he then later buried. Once he returned back to the house, he confronted his brother’s wife with fake tears. However, she already knew what he had done, so she committed suicide right then and there. And so, the brother had no more family nor did he have a beautiful wife that he so much wanted. He was left with nothing.
