Honestly? This bothers me on a fundamental level. This writers tactics are interesting. Alot of the NTR they write rarely is about the man normatively liking the girl but instead having a bond that is genuinely discarded for any multitude of realistic and tragic reasons. This was one was probably one of the more interesting and tragic ones. Through and through this girl is a victim regardless of the way thing could've gone. She's gaslighted in life and feeling weak, and defenseless, subjected herself to this sad fate. We're only shown a single snippet of this relationship but I doubt it's truly healthy. That guy is her rapist and when he got the opportunity to keep her he did, because there's no way to even stop him in this kind of setting. And the master can't bring himself to do disobey her or take a high ground because he's done his daughter figure wrong. This is all in all am unfortunate tragedy.
