All that happened was she Saw a silhouette of someone who was mostlikely satoru but that doesn't mean they got together had a family and grew old together 😂😂 relationships aren't that simple. It could be the case satoru just went back to let her know he was still her friend not that he wanted her as his girlfriend, and just as equally if they did get together after chapter 3s ending like most ntr plots rin might not have been satisfied with him after allsnd wen back to osuka. The only reason rin was so hung up on satoru is because she never got to tell him how she felt, that never meant they would make a good couple. Bro spent years figuring out his feelings that's not a good sign of a good partner

The other user is right, but an NTR that ends up becoming an NTS is a trope I like and it's not very common (it's almost always the other way around). As long as it ends up being an NTS, I'm willing to let the story go (even more than I already do).

Yes the netorase/cuckold ending is quite common in the NTR genre. But for this plot with these established characters, I feel the cuck ending would be an out of place conclusion to this story.
