The story is good AF, pretty emotional and a masterpiece. But I could really get up with this one, I was too focused on the drama and... well, if you think about the MC was basically groomed and them cheated on hahaha..... Honestly "Bad girl" is an understatement here. Still, I really like to see the uglier side of people in these stories and the sister here is great character but not a great person.

To be fair, "Vanilla" can also be read as "usual" or "boring", and there's indeed nothing more boring than conforming to the shallow idea of romance that usually circulates around. On the other hand, this term has been made equal to "romantic" and/or "lovey-dovey" in the context of asian romantic fiction (hentai in particular), so I suppose that calling incest (not including parent-child and other situations with a power dynamic problem) "not-vanilla" is mostly inadequate anyway.

@KūKi IMO this is because fraternal / cousin incest is the epitome of romance. First, it doesn't get more romantic than sharing even a upbringing with your partner. It's like a step beyond childhood friends. Second, romance is all about self-realisation in your relationships (not just romantic relationships), third parties be damned, and there's no bigger middle finger to the idea of putting societal expectations (i.e. that marriage is meant to be a contract between two different families) over actually trying to have a meaningful love life than "yeah, I fuck my sibling, but figure out that we only know each other's intimacy... Can't say the same about your possibly STD-ridden ass going about trying to blindly find your significant other."
