In my mind about BSS, I think many people consider those who are BSSed pathetic, but I think both who secretly like each other are pathetic. It's just that the cowardly one who gets approached chooses other person over the one they like. It ends up making the one who likes only one person and gets no one else seem more cowardly and foolish, even though the truly cowardly one is the one who doesn't dare confess their feelings and chooses the other.

It's bss, First guy is insecure and wallows in self pity for not being good at football like her who has talent. So he quit but is thinking of picking it back up to stand by her I guess.
