She vaguely says things can't continue like this, but they literally do. Would have been better if it was portrayed that she was jealous and wanted to be the main lover or something, then that would make sense and him choosing her over the ring would be in line with that. But its not explained like that at all. It's not really explained why she's leaving. He's just too charming or some BS.
