She'd be outcast, and considered filthy goods. Any employer that does a background check would immediately find that photo spread around by trolls and horny kids, and they'd most DEFINITELY hire her just to pressure her into a sexual relationship. So what if the guy gets locked up and confesses, nobody cares about what he has to say at that point. This kind of blackmail is common in hentai because your public image matters *greatly,* no police intervention will save you from reputational damage like that in Japanese society, if anything, it'll simply enflame the matter more since Japanese people are so god damn nosey and judgemental.

One of the worst blackmail plots I've seen and that's saying a lot since hentai artists can't seem to understand how blackmail actually works.
