After the dead junior passed on, the protag then reveals that one of the reason he didn't run away when seeing Mikan is because Mikan reminds him of a junior in middle school he used to have a crush on, and how he regrets never confessing his feelings. After everything, they've reunited again. In the morning, the protagonist learns that Mikan is missing every morning because she's been with her grandmother, who turns out to be the landlady of the apartment.

@Lamer99 I gotchu bro. The cheap apartment the protagonist found is haunted with a ghost whom he found cute. She didn't remember anything so he named her Mikan (Mandarin). When the sun is out, Mikan disappears. Protag has a shitty job, so bad when he and his colleague went to check their junior who's been missing work, they found him hanging himself. His colleague ran away too and now everything fell unto him. But it's okay since he's home he can go back embracing his ghost wife and all his worries melt with her. One time he got rough and it turns out his dead junior is haunting him. Mikan understands, as she knows something about the protag makes others want to rely on him.
