People in this comment section don't understanding this looks like a criticism to the dog sales business. You can even see the character is not a "dog girl", but a dog. Pages: 4, 5, 12. And pretty sure the author made the character human, so that you feel more pity for the character.

Whoever has bought a breed dog, you are supporting the industry that does this. Don't buy, adopt. Also many breeds are the result of the selective breeding of deformed animals with horrible genetical defects, so it goes double for that.

Honestly, this is less of a hentai manga and more of a commentary on animal shelters and life in general. Life is unfair, and so much of it comes down to pure luck. You might get picked for a great job opportunity, end up on a project team where you make new friends or even find love, or grow up hanging out with the wrong crowd and end up surrounded by alcoholics and drug addicts. And I think this doujinshi portrays the darker side of what happens to shelter animals pretty well. Even beautiful, healthy-looking dogs can get adopted just to end up being used as breeding machines. Just because an animal gets out of a shelter doesn't mean it's going to have a happy life. Message: 9/10 Plot: 7/10 Goonability: 3/10 — still better than guro and necro stuff, imo.
