For the longest time I was bewildered and confused at this story but after reading the final volume after a long while, I finally understood the plot. The son in law got what's coming to him. He strung his mother in law along his whims all this time, causing chaos in the wife's entire family, only to feel guilty at the end and left her so he can sort out his own feelings while the MIL was already full on committed to him. At the end of the day, the SIL was an indecisive fuck who screwed up everything while the MIL grew up through this whole affair and finally decides for herself who she wants to be with instead of getting swayed by people around her. And the real winner of this story is the middle age man with late stage male pattern baldness who managed to hit both the daughter and mother. Morale of the story is, keep your bitches close to you or someone else is going to adopt them.
