@Kami Nana I disagree. I think it is far more satisfying that Jun recognized that defending the honor of a lying cockslut like Katsuko would be foolish. Kazuya isn't even doing anything wrong. Yeah he's kind of a jerk but remember that Katsuko wouldn't even let Jun finger her at school but she's fine with getting loudly full-on fucked when it's Kazuya, or even exposing herself to Jun during class. It's Katsuko that's the problem, it was always Katsuko. Jun made the right choice here, 100%.

He made the smarter choice...but, gods, it's unsatisfying. Would have been better to have a few more chapters where we can see him completely ignoring her...or leaving the school altogether...thus making everything she did to keep him from being expelled rendered useless. To see her truly fall into despair for her stupidity would have been best. Even better would be Jun getting a new girlfriend and showing her how happy he is with a good woman beside him.
