If Nanao Yukiji does make more of this in the future, I’d be the most interested in seeing the entire story from the Mom’s perspective (from first finding her Sister and Nephew, to this After chapter) because I really want to know what Her feelings are about this ENTIRE situation. Despite being the lynchpin to this entire story, She really doesn’t feel like a proper character, more just… a trophy, the end goal for the MC to work towards, without any agency or motivation for Herself.

It’s weird to me that the Father is around, because He was literally never brought up in the story at any point before this. It makes both MC and his Mom look bad since they never even mention Him (and so assume that they don’t really care about Him, seriously, while the MC is freaking out in Ch1 after finding his Mom, He at no point thinks about what if He told his Dad/if his Dad somehow found out. And in Ch3 after the Mom finds MC with the Aunt, She never shows any concern about the idea of Him telling her Husband), and it makes the supposed “plan” the Aunt had to get the MC on board even stupider, because it means She assumed the MC would never tell his Father what He saw. It also kind of makes the Mother look EVEN WORSE for fucking the Cousin, because now it’s ACTUAL cheating/unfaithfulness, though at the very least might somewhat explain why She never tried anything at Home with the MC before the story.
