In the final chapter, which really starts from prev chapter (118), we get to the plotline of Kana dealing with her ex, where Kana's friend, Ai, indirectly helped mc by telling mc what was happening (Ai made up for teasing mc back in chapter 5) and then mc protecting Kana (121). Thus, we get to our resolution (123) where mc and Kana tell the truth to each other. And she explains why she didnt want mc to know (123-124), basically she was jealous of mc liking Mao and "liking" Ai (tempted by her) and so Kana didn't want mc to feel this jealousy or depressed or loneliness (124) with Kana's ex boyfriend.
