Well, i think this is rather a good ending minus the weird attitude towards rape in japanese hentai. This woman is not well, but let's not forget that her husband simply refused to have sex with her for years. The reason was that he was infertile and, instead of manning up and speak to his wife about he decided to withhold sex until she got over having kids. On the other hand, she could've talked to him about the lack of intimacy but seriously: how many issues in RL couples could be solved if people just had an honest conversation? Holding off judgement until the translation, but personally, this in-between that takes place before the epilogue of Chapter 3 just feels like a weird retcon of the message of the story. I am curious to see how the author is going to make this guy from chapter 2 sympathetic, apparently giving him a sad backstory and turning a new leaf, again based on the images, I could be totally wrong. Also it defeats the "sacrifice" she made by not allowing her ex-husband to ask her out at the end of chapter 3, leading us to believe she is trying to atone and be better first before seeking a new relationship, but if she is basically setting up a new life with this guy, then everything just falls flat because now she can easily reject him, meanwhile, the ex-husband believed he could start over with her after the year of alimony payments. I was a huge defender of the first 3 chapter series with tone and messaging, but this chapter just muddies the whole thing. Just overall an unneeded addition.
